They’ll play a split doubleheader on Saturday with the first game beginning at 12:10 p.m., and the second game beginning at 5:10 p.m. The announcement by the Tigers came more than three hours before the scheduled 6:40 p.m. start Friday’s game.
Dean Kremer (2-0, 6.20) starts Game 1 and Grayson Rodriguez (0-0, 5.12) starts the second game for the Orioles.
Each team will get to add a 27th player for the day.
It is the second postponement of the season for the Orioles. Their April 6th home opener was delayed by a day because of an unfavorable forecast.
