The Orioles won their arbitration case over relief pitcher Keegan Akin. The reliever, who was 5-4 with a 3.41 ERA and eight saves in 64 games last season, will be paid $2.975 million in 2026. Akin was seeking $3.375 million.
It’s still a hefty pay raise for the 30-year-old left-hander, who was in his last year of arbitration eligibility. Akin earned $1.475 million in 2025.
The Orioles were 1-for-2 in arbitration cases. Starting pitcher Kyle Bradish won his case and will be paid $3.55 million. The Orioles offered him $2.875 million.
News of the Akin decision was first reported by MLB.com and confirmed by an industry source.
