No Oriole is among the leaders in the latest release of American League All-Star balloting. Catcher Adley Rutschman, who went on the 7-day concussion injury list this weekend, dropped from third in last week’s balloting to fourth this week.

Rutschman, who has 434,433 votes, trails the Athletics’ Shea Langeliers by about 980,000 votes. He’s also well behind Toronto’s Alejandro Kirk and now, Detroit’s Dillon Dingler.

Pete Alonso, a five-time National League All-Star, remains in fifth place among first basemen. His 380,136 votes trail the Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. by more than 1 million votes.

Samuel Basallo has moved up to fifth place in designated hitter voting. Basallo has 211,232 votes and is far behind Houston’s Yordan Alvarez with 1.97 million votes.

Gunnar Henderson remains in sixth place among shortstops with 270,985. Kansas City’s Bobby Witt Jr. has 1.7 million votes.

Other Orioles among the leaders are Jeremiah Jackson, who is ninth in second base voting (169,258), and Taylor Ward, who’s 17th in outfielder voting (238,665).

Phase One voting continues through Thursday at noon. The two leaders at each position, and six among outfielders, then face off.

The All-Star team will be revealed on FOX at 7:30 p.m. on July 4th. The All-Star Game will be played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on July 14th.
