BALTIMORE—Orioles second baseman Jorge Mateo left the game against Tampa Bay on Sunday in the fourth inning when Cedric Mullins accidentally hit Mateo in the back of his helmet with a bat while Mateo was in the on-deck circle.

Ramón Urías hit for Mateo and went into the game to play third base. Jordan Westburg shifted from third base to second base.
