Every weekday, I’ll be answering at least one Orioles question. If you’d like to submit a question, send it to: [email protected]. Questions may be edited for clarity, length and style.

Question: Pitchers seem to be attacking Jackson Holliday early.  His at-bat with the hit  was an exception (first pitch was a ball), but how many of his at-bats has he seen the count go to 0-and-2? From: Steve Clarke from Virginia

Answer: Steven, Holliday has had an 0-2 count in eight at-bats, and he’s struck out in seven of them.

Question: Does Colton Cowser still qualify as a rookie? From: Carl Sallese

Answer: Carl, Cowser is still a rookie. He had 61 at-bats last year and had 43 days on the major league roster. Position players lose rookie status after 130 at-bats and 45 days on the major league roster.
