Orioles bringing back Birdland Caravan

The Orioles are bringing back their Birdland Caravan from February 2nd-5th. The caravan will visit locations in Baltimore, Bel Air, Bowie, College Park, Columbia, Elk Ridge, Frederick, Halethorpe, Odenton, Owings Mills, Salisbury, Towson, Westminster and York, Pennsylvania.

Players scheduled to participate are Bryan Baker, Félix Bautista, DL Hall, Austin Hays, Gunnar Henderson, Joey Krehbiel, Dean Kremer, Ryan McKenna, John Means, Ryan Mountcastle, Adley Rutschman, Kyle Stowers, Ramón Urías, Terrin Vavra and Nick Vespi along with top prospects Heston Kjerstad and Grayson Rodriguez.

Executive Vice President/General Manager Mike Elias and manager Brandon Hyde will begin the caravan on February 2nd with a question-and-answer session at Bel Air High School at 5 p.m.

There will be three days of Happy Hours from February 3rd-5th at the Evolution Craft Brewing Company in Salisbury, the Checkerspot Brewing Company in Baltimore and Crooked Crab Brewing Company in Odenton from 4-6 p.m.

There’s also a bowling event at Bowlero in College Park on February 4th, from 10 a.m-noon, autograph signings at Frederick Community College and Bowie State University on the fourth, at the York Expo Center and Sheraton North Hotel in Towson on the February 5. There also will be an event at Topgolf, which is near M&T Bank Stadium on the fifth.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Orioles.com/caravan for the autograph sessions, bowling and golf events.

The first Caravan was conducted in 2020, but because of the pandemic and lockout hasn’t been held since.
