Orioles release 2023 schedule in which they’ll play every team; Right-hander Sanders claimed off waivers

BALTIMORE—The Orioles open their 2023 season with a familiar opponent, the Boston Red Sox, at Fenway Park on March 30th. They’ll close the season at Camden Yards against the Red Sox on October 1st. In between, there will be many changes as Major League Baseball adopts a new schedule in which each team will play every team for the first time.

The Orioles’ home opener is scheduled for April 6th against the New York Yankees. But instead of 19 games against their American League East opponents, they’ll play 13 against their American League East opponents New York, Boston, Tampa Bay and Toronto.

They’ll play a three-game series against 14 National League opponents and a pair of two-game series against the Washington Nationals.
