The Orioles placed right-handed starter Kyle Bradish on the 15-day injured list because of right shoulder inflammation on Friday. The move is retroactive to Tuesday.

Bradish, who is 1-4 with a 7.38 earned-run average in 10 starts, was scheduled to start Friday night against the Chicago White Sox. After Thursday’s game, manager Brandon Hyde said that Bradish was going to be pushed back to Saturday and that right-hander Austin Voth would start instead.

A possibility for Saturday’s starter is Spenser Watkins, who was pulled from his start on Wednesday night for Triple-A Norfolk after throwing 10 pitches in one perfect inning. Right-hander Denyi Reyes is another possibility.

The Orioles recalled right-hander reliever Marcos Diplán from Triple-A Norfolk to take Bradish’s place on the roster. Diplán has a 1.59 ERA in five appearances for the Orioles this season.
