Orioles open 2020 season at home against Yankees

NEW YORK—The Orioles begin the 2020 season at home on March 26, the earliest Opening Day ever when they play the New York Yankees.

This season, they opened the season at Yankee Stadium on March 28.

The Orioles’ interleague opponents at home are Pittsburgh (April 10-12), Chicago (April 14-15), Washington (August 8-9) and Milwaukee (September 11-13).

They play home-and-home series with the Cubs (June 2-3) and Nationals (September 15-16).

The Orioles also visit St. Louis for the first time since 2003, when they play at Busch Stadium on April 2-5. Busch is the only current major league stadium they haven’t played in. They’ll also visit Cincinnati on August 31-September 2.

From August 27-30, the Orioles will play at Globe Life Field, where the Texas Rangers will play their first season.

The Orioles will be home for two national holidays — Chicago White Sox, on Memorial Day, May 25; and the Yankees, on Labor Day ,September 7).

On August 23, the Orioles play Boston in the Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

For the second straight season, the Orioles close the season at Fenway Park, when they play the Red Sox September 25-27. They have two trips to Boston in July (10-12, 27-29).

The final home dates are a four-game weekday series with Tampa Bay (September 21-24.)
