Orioles extend $23.15 million qualifying offer to Rogers

The Orioles extended a qualifying offer of $23.15 million to free agent left-hander Trevor Rogers on Monday. Rogers, who was 10-11 with a 4.03 ERA in 30 games in 2026, could be a highly sought-after free agent.

In 2025, Rogers was voted Most Valuable Oriole after he was 9-3 with a 1.81 ERA in 18 starts.

If Rogers declines the one-year contract offer, and he has until November 17th to accept it, the Orioles will receive a compensation draft pick from the team that signs him.

The Orioles acquired Rogers from the Miami Marlins in July 2025 in exchange for outfielder Kyle Stowers and infielder Connor Norby. He had a 7.11 ERA in four starts for the Orioles, then was sent to Triple-A Norfolk.

The Orioles announced that they’ve declined the 2027 options on first baseman/designated hitter Ryan Mountcastle and left-hander Dietrich Enns.

They’ve restored right-handers Kyle Bradish and Ryan Helsley, outfielder Tyler O’Neill and infielder Jordan Westburg to the 40-man roster, which now has 37 players.
