Orioles option Povich, Enns to paternity list, Ragsdale, Wolfram recalled

NEW YORK-In need of bullpen arms after Trevor Rogers threw only three innings on Friday, the Orioles optioned left-hander Cade Povich to the club’s spring training complex in Sarasota. Povich’s season was already over. He was 3-8 with a 5.21 ERA and started on Thursday.

Left-hander Dietrich Enns, who left during Friday night’s game to be with his wife, was placed on the paternity list, and to replace them the Orioles recalled right-handers Carson Ragsdale and Grant Wolfram from the spring training complex.

Ragsdale allowed eight runs on nine hits in three innings in his only appearance while Wolfram is 3-1 with a 4.85 ERA in 20 games.
