BALTIMORE—For the second time in six days, Jordan Westburg left Friday’s Orioles game against the Tampa Bay Rays because of left hand discomfort.
Westburg, who missed three games after jamming his left index finger stealing second base last Saturday against the New York Yankees, injured his hand again, this time with a headfirst slide at second on a double in the first inning.
Interim manager Tony Mansolino and head athletic trainer Scott Barringer immediately went to second base to check on Westburg, who remained in the game but came out when it was his turn to bat in the second.
He was replaced by Ramón Urías.
