The Orioles placed outfielder Tyler O’Neill on the 10-day injured list on Saturday with neck inflammation. The move is retroactive to April 24th.
O’Neill, who is in a 1-for-22 slump, is hitting .215 with two home runs and 10 RBIs. He missed two games last week with neck discomfort, and last played on Wednesday night in Washington.
The Orioles recalled outfielder Dylan Carlson from Triple-A Norfolk. Carlson was up briefly after Colton Cowser went on the injured list with a fractured thumb and was sent down when Gunnar Henderson was activated from the IL.
Carlson, who struck out in each of his four official at-bats, was hitting .286 with a home run and 11 RBIs at Norfolk.
