Former Orioles Britton, Hardy, Jones, Markakis to serve as spring training guest coaches

SARASOTA—The Orioles are bringing back some of their most acclaimed players of the recent past to serve as guest coaches for spring training.

Zack Britton, J.J. Hardy, Adam Jones and Nick Markakis will each take a turn working with players at the Ed Smith Stadium complex.

It will be the first time that Britton, who converted all 47 of his save opportunities in 2016, and Markakis, who was elected to the Orioles’ Hall of Fame last year, have assisted in spring training.
