The All-Star Game isn’t for nearly six weeks, but voting is underway. There are nine Orioles on the ballot, one for each position. Catcher Adley Rutschman, first baseman Pete Alonso, second baseman Jeremiah Jackson, shortstop Gunnar Henderson and third baseman Coby Mayo. The Orioles’ outfield nominees are Dylan Beavers, Leody Taveras and Taylor Ward. Samuel Basallo is the designated hitter nominee
Rutschman was an All-Star in 2023 and 2024. Henderson was also a 2024 All-Star. Alonso was a five-time All-Star with the New York Mets in 2019 and from 2022-2025.
Last year’s Orioles’ All-Star was designated hitter Ryan O’Hearn, who’s now with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Fans can vote five times per day between now and June 25th at noon. The top two votegetters at each position will face off in the final phase of voting, which starts on June 29th.
The All-Star Game will be held at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on July 14th.
