BALTIMORE—Trevor Rogers has recovered from the flu, and he’s been activated from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday night’s game against the New York Yankees.
Rogers, who is 2-3 with a 4.75 ERA in six starts, missed two starts.
To make room for Rogers on the 26-man roster, the Orioles optioned right-hander Jose Espada to Triple-A Norfolk. Espada pitched a scoreless inning in his only appearance.
Rogers is 1-1 with a 4.60 ERA in four starts against the Yankees.
