Orioles recall Povich from Triple-A Norfolk, place Hiraldo on injured list

PITTSBURGH—The Orioles have recalled left-handed pitcher Cade Povich from Triple-A Norfolk and placed right-hander Yaramil Hiraldo on the 15-day injured with right shoulder inflammation. That move is retroactive to April 2nd.

Povich could start Monday or Tuesday in Chicago against the White Sox. He allowed five runs on six hits in five innings in his only start for Norfolk on March 27th.

In 2025, Povich was 3-9 with a 5.21 ERA in 22 games, 20 starts for the Orioles. He was optioned to Norfolk on March 15th after he had a 4.32 ERA in three spring starts.
