Orioles lose 3rd baseman Bryan Ramos to Cardinals on waivers; Wilson assigned to Norfolk

After the acquisition of utility infielder Blaze Alexander on Thursday, the Orioles waived third baseman Bryan Ramos, who was claimed by the St. Louis Cardinals.

Ramos’ contract was purchased from the Chicago White Sox on Sunday.

After Ramos was acquired, the Orioles designated utility player Weston Wilson for assignment. He cleared outright waivers and was assigned to Triple-A Norfolk.
