Suárez, Noel lead Orioles’ list of 30 non-roster players invited to spring training

The Orioles invited 30 non-roster players to next week’s spring training in Sarasota. Fifteen are pitchers and 15 are position players.

The most well-known is right-hander Albert Suárez, who after being invited to spring training in 2024, ended up starting 24 times, tied for second-most on the club.

Trey Gibson, who was named the organization’s minor league pitcher of the year, also has been invited.

Outfielder Enrique Bradfield Jr., the team’s top draft choice in 2023, is receiving an invitation for the second straight spring.

Outfielder Jhonkensy Noel, known as “Big Christmas,” who was claimed off waivers from Cleveland but quickly taken off the roster, is the most well-known position player.

The others invited are: right-handers Jeisson Cabrera, Hans Crouse, Nestor German, Keagan Gillies, Richard Guasch, Jean Carlos Henriquez, Enoli Paredes, Levi Wells and Cameron Weston, left-handers Luis De Léon, Andrew Magno, Eric Torres and Josh Walker, catchers Ethan Anderson, Silas Ardoin, Maverick Handley, Sam Huff and Creed Willems, infielders José Barrero, Payton Eeles, Aron Estrada, Ryan Noda, Willy Vasquez and Luis Vázquez and outfielders Jud Fabian and Will Robertson. .
